How does Everluxe work?

We understand how expensive luxury handbag can be, the passion to fashion and style you might have to want to try more bags, and how unsustainable it can be.

 

Our service provides access to designer handbags at affordable cost and lets you rent beautiful and timeless pieces on a monthly basis.

What is the difference among the three tiers?

Everluxe offers 3 plans.

 

  • Signature ($88/2 weeks or $168/month):

    Rent one handbag in the signature collection with an estimated retail value up to $2000

  • Classic ($168/2 weeks or $338/month):

    Rent one handbag in the signature collection with an estimated retail value up to $4000

  • Exclusive ($288/2 weeks or $578/month):

    Rent one handbag in the signature collection with an estimated retail value up to $15000 

How long can I keep a bag?  

You can keep as long as you wish and payment cycle is per month. As long as your account is in good standing and your payments are up to date , the piece is yours.

Can I rent more than one handbag at a time? 

Of course! We totally understand your might need different bags for different occasions. Every time you rent a bag, we will get certain credits. Once your status reach to xxx credits, you can brow upto 3 bags for month.

How do I unlock exclusive pieces?

Build your credit and connection with us! After 10 times classic rental, you will unblock to highest tier exclusive

Is it possible to change or getting a refund for an item I rented?  

We typically do not offer exchange or refund until the current cycle is over; but we do understand there are situations you might have changed your mind, feel free to contact@myeverluxe.com and a member of our team will be happy to assist. 

What should I do with the security tag that is attached to my rental item?

The security tag is your assurance that the item you've received is authentic and came from us. If you keep the item, you can remove the tag, throw it away and enjoy your rental item.

Why is there a temporary authorization hold on my account when I sign up and when is it released?

Generally, no. There are some rare exceptions (for instance, if we don’t typically offer Switch in your country but you really want to be a member anyway).

Do you run a credit check?

We don’t run a full credit check, but we might run a ‘soft inquiry’, which gives us a peek at your credit without affecting your score. A lot of companies out there do this without you realizing it (think of all the credit card and loan offers you get in the mail), but we prefer to be transparent about it. It’s a protection we keep in place since we’re letting members borrow such valuable items at such a low price.

Do you require a security deposit?

Generally, no.

What if the piece I like to borrow is borrowed.

You can turn on notifications for an item even when it's already available. You might want to do this if the piece later becomes borrowed and you want to know when it's back.

Shipping & Returns

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping is always free! If you'd like to get your item faster, select one of our expedited shipping options during checkout. We offer FedEx 2-Day and Overnight options for an added fee, which is charged to your card on file.

How long does it take to receive an item?

All deliveries are sent via FedEx standard express shipping unless an alternative shipping method is selected in checkout. We offer FedEx 2-Day and Overnight options for a fee (charged to your card on file).

Do you offer insurance? 

Normal wear and damage is covered by us! In addition, we offer a protection plan that covers your rent items for accidental damage.

How do I track an item I've rented?

Your tracking number can be found on your My Account page.

How do I return the items I'm renting?

When you are ready to place an item back in myeverluxe closet, simply pack it up and return it with the shipping label included in your original package. We recommend dropping off your item with the carrier directly and obtaining a receipt.

What happens if I lose or damage an item?

Normal wear and tear is covered by us.

 

Also, if anything is lost or damaged when it's in FedEx’s custody, you won’t be held responsible. Please note that an item is only considered in FedEx’s custody after it is scanned by FedEx. If an item is returned without a receipt from FedEx and FedEx refutes that the item was in their custody, the customer assumed liability. The best way to get a receipt is by dropping the shipment off with a representative at an official FedEx Office Print and Ship location and requesting a receipt.

 

If a piece is otherwise lost, stolen, or excessively damaged, you’re on the hook for the member price of the item. The best way to pay for a piece that’s been lost or stolen is to sign into your Everluxe account, go to your profile page, and pay the item. After that, you can pick another piece to enjoy.

How do I return my piece?

As soon as you’re ready for something new, package the items in the Everluxe box they arrived in and place the box in the provided unused compostable mailer, Make sure the packaging is securely taped shut and affix the provided prepaid shipping label (unless the label is already affixed).

We suggest you drop off the shipment with a representative at a ‘FedEx Office Print and Ship’ and get a confirmation receipt. Please note that if you don’t get a receipt and FedEx doesn’t scan the shipment, you assume liability for the shipment.

Soon after it’s scanned, you’ll receive an email informing you that your Cart is unlocked so you can select your next pieces.

How do you insure items arrive clean and ready to wear?

Every time an item is returned, it goes through a careful inspection and thorough cleaning process before being sent out to the next user.

I want to rent an item that I don't see on Everluxe. Can I request it?

Absolutely! If there is an item your are interested in adding to Everluxe, feel free to email us at contact@myeverluxe.com so we can add it to our shopping list and we can send you a notification once it is online.

I have something borrowed and I love it! Can I buy it?

Sorry, we currently do not offer purchase option so that more people can get their hands on these beautiful pieces. 

How do you get your products?

We carefully curate all items from reliable sellers all over the world.

Do you guarantee authenticity?

YES!!! We go to great lengths to ensure that every piece we carry is authentic. We can’t overstate how important to us this is and how proud we are of our rigorous authentication process.  If you ever have the slightest doubt about the authenticity of a piece, please let us know immediately.

What condition are the items in?

The condition of each item will vary. Sometimes you will be the first to experience an item and other cases the pieces will be vintage and you may notice signs of wear. If you wish to discuss condition of a certain item further, please contact us at sales@myeverluxe.com

 

We take great care to accurately represent the condition of our items through the images we provide. While these images generally serve as a reliable indicator and we periodically update them to reflect their current condition, there might be slight variations between the images and the actual item received.

Rest assured, we maintain rigorous standards for item condition and continuously re-evaluate pieces to ensure they meet our high standards. Keep in mind that vintage pieces may look more aged and worn (which, in our opinion, adds to their appeal). Other pieces are in new or like-new condition. In some cases, you might be the first to ever wear a piece. Even if you’re not, it might feel like you are–few things endure like luxury accessories
